ANCC Certification Review and Resource Manuals are designed to help nurses pass the certification exams, to provide continuing education contact hours for recertification, and to act as a general resource for that specialty. Purpose/Goal: To provide nurses with current information to be utilized in the role of pediatric nurse practitioner; to provide review materials for nurses desiring pediatric nurse practitioner certification.

Objectives:

1. Pass the posttest with at least 75% of the answers correct.
2. Select responses to test questions based on key principles, standards of practice, and theoretical basis of nursing practice.
3. Choose accepted therapeutic interventions in answering questions related to quality nursing practice.
4. Utilize direct and indirect professional role responsibilities and applications regarding nursing practice in answering test questions.
